Scraps Community room and gatherings
How does it work?
Behind our storefront, we have a 1000sqft community art studio and event space. Monday Through Friday Scraps Community Studio is open to the public to bring in your own projects and work in this communal space.
What if SCRAPS is hosting a class or party being held?
Treat it like a library, you can bring your projects and work in the open space as long as you are not disruptive to the class.
Can I host a party in the community studio?
Monday through Friday you are welcome to bring your own party supplies and use our space free of charge during normal open studio hours. Please still schedule with the office not to overbook. Contact the office to schedule a private party.
Gathering Packages
Monday Private Rentals (studio closed to the public just for you)
Space Only Rental
$200 for up to 4 hours
For groups who want the space to themselves and plan to facilitate their own celebration. No staff support is included.
Hosted Creative Party
$550 for up to 8 artists
Includes a staff led creative activity (example: crochet basics, paint class, seasonal craft). Nonparticipating family and support people are welcome and included in the price.
You’re welcome to bring cake, snacks, and simple party supplies.
Weeknight Art + Sip Parties (7–10 PM)
Looking for a creative night out with your friends? We offer private Art + Sip parties on weeknights from 7–10 PM. Pricing ranges from $120–$330 depending on the project you choose.
Painting
One of our gallery artists will guide your group through a simple painting step by step.
Crochet
Our lead crocheter will teach your group how to start a chain and move into single crochet as we make a washcloth together.
Paper Sculpture
Best for more advanced art groups. Kayla will walk you through the basics of building a small paper sculpture.

Community Room Parties (during open hours)
If you’d like to celebrate during open studio hours, you can reserve space in our community room. The community will be creating alongside you, so this option is best for casual gatherings and DIY style parties.
Please schedule with the managers so we can avoid overbooking the room.
DIY Craft Kits
Want to keep it simple? We can prep pre-packaged craft kits for your group to create on your own without staff assistance. $5-12 for each kit
